From the time I was a child, I loved reading and writing, and I have always dreamt of being a journalist. In school however, my biology classes delighted me, so I applied for UFBA to study biology with a master's in zoology. My real degree should be physiology, as I have preferentially dedicated my time to the subject throughout my education. In college, I worked for three years monitoring subjects' neurological systems and took many courses in the area of neuroscience. When I graduated with my bachelor's degree, I worked as a substitute teacher in animal physiology and marine animal physiology. During my master's, I studied certain aspects of snake envenoming. Currently, I am a journalism student at UFBA, committed to conquering my childhood dream of being a scientific journalist.
